Kazakhstan, a Central Asian country and former Soviet republic, and Astana is the Capital of country, with the associated a Port in the Caspian sea name is Akatu  , which is the main port of Kazakhstan for International trade and transportation

the country declared its independence from the Soviet Union on December 16, 1991, and Kazakhstan is a IMO WHITELISTED Country and a member state of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The Country joined to the IMO in March 11, 1994. And the same year Maritime Directorate of  Kazakhstan has been formed which is the Maritime Administration Office for regulating , maintaining  and development of Maritime Activities and Seafarers Training and Education.

Kazakhstan owned Maritime Academy and Approved many others Academies in Different cities of Kazakhstan to providing Training and certification and also has been authorized Academies in other foreign countries like Greece, Thailand, Bangladesh, Egypt, Turkey, and Georgia  for providing support for foreign seafarers to get Maritime Education under Kazakhstan Maritime  Act to obtaining Certificate of Competency , Certificate of Proficiency and Seaman Book in accordance with the Regulation I/2 under the convention of STCW 2010  as amended .

Kazakhstan is also a open Ship Registry and  Accepting the all types of International ships under its flag by following the easy procedure
